Hi Beavan, great start on thesis! This looks like a really fun character.

One of the things I noticed though was I didn't feel a lot of volume in his face. I like the sharp edges by his mouth and nose but maybe the lines are too close and tight. I would pull the loops apart just a wee bit. This will also help with blends when you want your character to do a bit smile and the uv's pull the texture too tight which can be noticed on renders.

And maybe for his neck, I think it would be a good idea to give him a little stubble for a chin and then have all the neck fat because right now it feels a little bit strange that he has no chin. Even on fat people they have a little indication of that point on the face, and I think it would add a lot to his character as well. It would also break up the neck geometry visually, too.

The last thing I noticed was the ears. They look great from the front but I feel in the side view they get kind of lost. Alex Marino does a really nice with the ears on his character and has a similar style of ear, maybe that would be a good ref? I feel they need to a little bit bigger and have some more dimension to them so they don't get lost.

It's a great start! Thanks for sharing!
